As 2019 comes to a close, we embark on a favorite tradition here at Postlight where we donate to a collection of 501(c)(3)s that have been chosen by the Postlight team. There are so many incredible organizations working tirelessly to make the world a better place, and we’re grateful for them and proud to be able to offer our support.
Here are the charities and not-for-profits the Postlight team choose to donate to this year.
American Civil Liberties Union

Breast Cancer Research Foundation
Works to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising breast cancer research.
Brooklyn Community Bail Fund
Committed to challenging the criminalization of race, poverty and immigration status, the practice of putting a price on fundamental rights, and the persistent myth that bail is a necessary element of the justice system.
Carbon180
Brings together scientists, policymakers, and businesses to fundamentally rethink carbon.
Change For Kids
Invests in New York City public elementary schools in underserved communities.
Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD)

Provides leadership in the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer through excellence, vision and cost effectiveness in patient care, outreach programs, research, and education.
Midwest Access Coalition
Envisions a world in which all people have access to safe, free, legal abortions wherever they live.
Minnesota Freedom Fund
Pays criminal bail and immigration bond for those who cannot afford to as we seek to end discriminatory, coercive, and oppressive jailing.
NARAL Pro-Choice America
Engages in lobbying, political action, and advocacy efforts to oppose restrictions on abortion and expand access to abortion.
Nick’s Place
Helps young men in their journey through recovery from the disease of addiction
Ozone House
Emergency shelter, safe space, transitional housing, and counseling for homeless youth, LGBT runaway teens and families in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.

Helping to provide abortion care in underserved communities so that all women can make their own decisions about their health care.
Woodstock Farm Sanctuary
Rescues farmed animals and gives them care and sanctuary, connects animals with people to advance veganism, and advocates for animal rights in alliance with other social justice movements.
