Our design series, Design Elephants, covers topics we still need to talk about in design. We kicked off the series with an event highlighting accessibility in design: why design professionals must consider designing for diverse audiences with unique situational needs, and actionable tips to introduce accessible design into both your process and organization.
Postlight was very excited to host both Regine Gilbert, the author of Inclusive Design in the Digital Age: Designing with Accessibility in Mind, and Walei Sabry, Digital Accessibility Coordinator for the City of New York. Additionally, Postlight’s own Senior Product Designer Nora Vanni shared tips on how to best advocate for accessibility within the design process.
